New Trade Alert: Plandai Biotechnology Inc. (OTCMKTS: PLPL)

A brief recap of our alert from yesterday. FDMF opened 33% above our alert price, which effectively ate our gain potential unfortunately. Volume levels were weak so it seems that many of you opted out of the trade after noting the huge gap-up. Today I would like to present a known winner to us, PLPL. 

I hope many of you remember this winner from several months ago. PLPL after our alert on May 10^th, rallied to a high of 80 cents from alert price of 42 cents, providing gains of 90%.

Now,PLPL is trading at 50 cents, stabilizing after its rocket rally, and is now, in our opinion ready for its second leg up.

Oprah swears by it and you can't flip a channel these days without seeing some advertisement touting the virtues of green tea or some other medical plant extract. To be honest I used to think it was hype, but having done some research I can tell you, these plant extracts rock!

My discovery is what led to this latest alert and I want you all to fasten your seatbelts because PLPL is about deliver a whirlwind of gain potential.

FolksPLPL and its subsidiaries develop highly bioavailable, phytonutrient rich extracts which are being utilized to deliver a new family of drugs to safely and affordably treat a multitude of diseases and conditions.

That's the corporate spiel; the simple way of putting that in our terms is that PLPL makes products that get bought.

And boy do these products get bought; thanks to rapid demand the botanical and natural ingredient export trade reached a whopping $33 billion in 2010. Since then that figure has grown steadily and now the market is worth more than $37 billion with many experts predicting a $59 million market by the end of 2016.

PLPL's management has obviously set its sights on taking a massive chunk from these billions because in the last few weeks the company has been on a tear. PLPL is hoping to develop products for market release as early 2014 and is now conducting trials using Phytofare^(TM) Pheroid^(TM) Topical Catechin Complex ("ph2TM"), a new topical cream based on the nano-entrapment technology developed by Prof. Anne Grobler at NWU.

The topical cream has just been licensed to Plandaí for human and animal use.

Given the huge growth potential of the industry I am not surprised that PLPL is being so aggressive in its approach. Neither am I surprised that the company is not leaving production of its products to chance...

PLPL is now the proud owner of a 10,000 m²  production building and the company plans to install vital production equipment in matter of weeks.

We've fielded multiple inquiries from large skin care product manufacturers interested in seeing the known benefits of green tea catechins transferred into a topical solution that can penetrate through the various tissue levels and be absorbed at the cellular level. One the strength of those fundamentals you could easily lock your eyes and take a piece of PLPL's incredible gain potential. But that's not how we roll and the technical data is vital also.

I can tell you though that the technical setup is perhaps even more tantalizing than the fundamentals.

Check this out:

·        PLPL has added more than 1,100% to its 52-week low since January

·        RSI is a solid 36.00 (can you spot the bounce play opportunity?)

·        The 52-week high is a commanding 80 cents which means that traders have a gain potential of more than 60%

You really can't have a clearer path to biotech goodness than PLPL and I hope when the delivery happens you all take something.
